What is JobbTrakr?
JobbTrakr is a job management platform designed specifically for trade contractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC, landscapers, carpenters). It helps you create quotes, manage jobs, send invoices, track payments, and schedule work - all from your phone or computer.
Who is JobbTrakr for?
JobbTrakr is built for solo contractors and small crews (1-10 people) in the trades industry. If you're currently using spreadsheets, pen and paper, or generic software that wasn't built for contractors, JobbTrakr is for you.
What countries does JobbTrakr support?
JobbTrakr fully supports contractors in Australia and New Zealand. Each country gets localized currency, tax rates (GST), business number formats, and terminology.
How much does JobbTrakr cost?
JobbTrakr is currently FREE to use. Early adopters will be locked into founder pricing when we launch paid plans (estimated $25-30 AUD/month). No credit card required to start.
Do I need to install an app?
No. JobbTrakr is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Just visit app.jobbtrakr.app in your browser and optionally add it to your home screen. It works like a native app but with no app store download required.

Yes. JobbTrakr is mobile-first. Create professional quotes from your phone in under 2 minutes. Add labor, materials, photos, and send directly to customers as a PDF.
Does JobbTrakr work offline?
Yes. You can view your schedule, create quotes, log jobs, and take photos without internet. Everything syncs automatically when you're back online.
Can I track inventory and parts?
Yes. JobbTrakr includes inventory management. Track stock levels, set reorder points, apply markup automatically to quotes, and see which jobs used which parts.
How does invoicing work?
Convert any quote to a job, then generate an invoice with one click. Invoices include your business details, itemized charges, tax calculations, and payment terms. Send via email as a professional PDF.
Can I track recurring jobs?
Yes. Set up recurring maintenance contracts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually). JobbTrakr automatically creates jobs on schedule and reminds you when they're due.
Does JobbTrakr handle multiple currencies?
Yes. JobbTrakr supports AUD and NZD with proper formatting for each locale. Your invoices and quotes display currency correctly for your country.

Tax & Compliance

Does JobbTrakr calculate tax automatically?
Yes. Set your country and tax rate once. JobbTrakr automatically applies GST (Australia and New Zealand) to all quotes and invoices.
What tax rates are supported?
Australia: 10% GST, New Zealand: 15% GST.
Can I export data for my accountant?
Yes. Export all invoices, quotes, payments, and expenses to CSV or PDF. Reports include everything your accountant needs for tax filing and bookkeeping.
Does JobbTrakr track business expenses?
Yes. Log expenses, categorize them, attach receipts, and track tax-deductible costs. Perfect for claiming input tax credits (GST) or business deductions.

Is there a free trial?
JobbTrakr is completely free to use. No credit card required. No time limit. Use all features without restriction.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. No per-invoice fees, no transaction fees, no user fees, no storage limits. One simple price when we launch paid plans.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. When paid plans launch, you can cancel anytime with no penalties. Your data remains exportable even after cancellation.

What devices does JobbTrakr work on?
JobbTrakr works on any device with a modern web browser: iPhone, Android phones, Windows PCs, Mac, tablets, iPads. Responsive design adapts to any screen size.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Regular backups, SOC 2 compliant hosting, and multi-factor authentication available. Your data is never sold or shared.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. Import customers, inventory, and jobs from CSV files. Contact admin@jobbtrakr.app for help with bulk imports from other systems.
How do I get support?

Can multiple users access the same account?
Yes. Add team members (workers, managers) with different permission levels. Owner can view everything, workers see only their assigned jobs.
