Can I put a quote together from the van or on site?
Yes. Break the job down into labour and parts, pull pipe, fittings and hot water units straight out of your inventory instead of guessing at prices, apply your markup, and get it in front of the customer by email or SMS the same visit.
Does JobbTrakr work with no signal, under a house, in a roof space or a basement?
Yes. JobbTrakr is a PWA that keeps working without a connection, so you can open the job, check the schedule, log parts used and take photos under a house, in a roof cavity, or a signal-dead basement, and it all syncs the moment you're back in range.
Does JobbTrakr track compliance certificates?
You can attach compliance certificates and test reports to a job as files — things like a Compliance Certificate for plumbing work in Victoria, a Notice of Work or Sydney Water compliance record in NSW, notifiable work documentation with the QBCC in Queensland, a gas compliance certificate, or an annual backflow prevention device test report. JobbTrakr doesn't yet issue or generate these certificates itself, so check what your state, territory or local water authority specifically requires.
Can I separate callouts, installs, and maintenance jobs?
Yes. Set a job type when you create the job, so emergency callouts, new installations, and scheduled maintenance visits — like annual backflow testing or hot water servicing — are tracked and reported on separately instead of blurring into one list.
Will GST come out right on my quotes and invoices?
Yes. Set your country once in JobbTrakr and every quote and invoice calculates GST automatically, formatted to Australian or New Zealand tax invoice requirements so you're not doing the maths by hand under a house.
Can I text a quote or invoice, and take payments online, without JobbTrakr taking a cut?
Yes. Connect your own Twilio account for SMS and your own Stripe account for payments, both set up directly in Settings. They're your accounts, so you wear those costs directly and JobbTrakr's subscription price stays the same no matter how many texts you send or payments you take.
Is JobbTrakr accounting software?
No — JobbTrakr is job management software: scheduling, dispatch, quoting, inventory and GST-compliant invoicing. It's not a full bookkeeping or accounting platform, though the bank reconciliation tool will match your imported bank statement against invoices and expenses. If you need full accounting, export your invoice and expense data to hand to your bookkeeper or accountant.
